Gothictronic

Screening - Low end
This is a cd that is quite experimental. The tracks ar built up completely with the sound of a bass guitar as a base. However, this bass guitar is manipulated and hardly recognisable as such and instead sonic soundscpaes are generated where it’s nice to dwell in. This is a cd that apparently asks a lot from the listener but this really is not the case. This kind of avantgarde music is something you perhaps have to get used to but there are enough less dissonant sounds to actually enjoy a nice atmosphere. Those familiair with the work of Steve Reich or Robert Rich recognise the music on this album easily. Personally i find the more recent ambient focussed tracks on this cd are the best, but overall it is a nice cd to listen to anyhow.
