Profile: Hailing from Israel, Maor Appelbaum is an artist who’s already active for a couple of years now in the electronic and industrial underground scene. He set up his own label as an exit for his huge creativity. Screening is the debut release on his label, featuring a very experimental project based on the bass guitar play. This record only contains bass guitar parts he manipulated and overloaded with effects. Well, the result is much better than I personally expected. “Low end “ became a kind of ambient release with some heavy bass blasts and other floating parts. The atmosphere even turns into coldness on the cool “Printing images”.
