vectorscope -Monitoring The Blind
Vectorscope is an Isrealian band, who's also the owner of its
label, Maor Appelbaum. It shows how small the scene in Israel
actually is, as the only other Israelian band I know (IWR, for
example on Black Rain's "St?rsequenz" sampler) is also signed to
this label. Vectorscope is a band that uses his knowledge of
electronic instruments to create dark, variating sound that was
recorded inbetween January 1999 and May 2001. The eleven songs
on "Monitoring The Blind" are all instrumental songs, based on
the electronics which are also popular in the EBM, industrial
and even noise scene. The sound of this album lays therefore
spread out between these genres, and offers the same variation.
There's a progression hearable too, as the newest songs are
sounding better and have a better impact that the ones recorded
in '99. All and all, this is a very nice introduction, that
shows the capabilities of Vectorscope.
