First of all few things about the band. Vultures is Israeli
industrial band, playing insane mix of techno sounds with extreme metal with
addition of screaming distorted vocals. They also give excellent and eccentric
live performances, you can see pics from the concerts on their website.
I was amazed when I first heard Internal Plea and Vultures' Splendour a year
ago - I love industrial metal very much but it is very extreme even by the means
of industrial. Imagine yourself that robots from Terminator movies decided to
play metal - this what it would sound like, a perfect themes for the end of
the world.
Now about songs:
Internal Plea - starts with samples, voices and electronic beat, slowly developing
into industrial mayhem with distorted guitars and screaming vocals of vocalist
Rani Zaher. I absolutely love guitar work in this song - it adds a lot of aggression
to the music.
Vultures Splendour - my favorite on this CD. This song is much faster than previous,
with heavy guitars playing to the fast beat, ambient and weird keyboard sounds
and great vocals. This song is also one of the most energetic industrial songs
I've ever heard and I can listen to it 10 times in a row.
In The Head - nothing much to say about it, most of the song it's just vocalist
screaming something when some weird sounds on the backgorund. There is also
a heavy part in the song, which sounds nice.
Examine - this song sounds different from other 3, with different drum sound
and beat, but also very worth listening.
This CD is recommended to everyone who like extreme industrial music and extreme
music in general. I'm waiting for their first album which should be out in near
future.
